If you didn't understand my last post, don't worry. Nobody else got it either. Life just doesn't make sense sometimes. Deal with it. A week ago I sadly returned to work after being furloughed for six weeks. Hard to admit it here but I really didn't do anything constructive with my time. I sat around in front of the TV getting fat mostly. But finally, about ten days ago, just before I unexpectedly got a phone call telling me I was going back to work in two days, I wrote something. The first thing I've written in 18 months. Quite an event then. This new thing has been a long time coming. I wrote quite a big non-fiction piece in 2013 that gave me a lot of trouble. I spent an awfully long time doing rewrites on it and then the situation changed and it seemed kind of no longer valid or obsolete or incomplete or something and I ran out of free space on my WP document as well so I just let it rest at the end of 2014 even though I was still far from satisfied. I was asked which 3 categories my forthcoming book might best be classified under, and from the list I was given I selected fantasy, philosophy and memoirs, but they don't entirely do it justice.
